Anjali Sinha
Visual Artist, film-maker, writer
Every individual has a certain way of communicating
and expressing themselves. A way they can relive memories, experiences of life
as also live their dreams. Anjali Sinha, an artist finds strokes and textures
on canvas as the best mode to relive the same.
With formal training in film, media and communication
and no
training in art, Anjali has been
constantly experimenting with her styles over a decade and believes strongly
that, as a part of her artistic journey. Her mediums are mixed media ranging
from oil, acrylic and charcoal on paper and canvas to films and photography.
She reproduces her imagination, her experiences and emotions in the form of visual images and textures.
Her works have travelled to various countries and have
also been sold there. Places such as New York, Geneva, Boston, South America,
Europe and India.
She also has a bag full of films produced/directed for
various non-profit organisations, channels such as National Geographic Channel, ESP Films, Zoom
and corporates such as Microsoft, Gillette, ABN AMRO.
Anjali currently lives in Delhi, India but her soul
travels everywhere. Having lived her early years in Africa, Europe and then
India, she believes that her art has to be global. She has travelled almost
every country on the map and believes that Art is meant to be understood by all
cultures and traditions without giving too much importance to where it is
created from. And that is when you realise that her efforts to produce her
artworks include pieces from different cultures and traditions and therefore
highly influenced by her travels.
Her ultimate goal for her artworks is that everyone is
able to reach out to her creation and keep it close to the ones they connect
with. Her creations are to interact with her audience and portray a story of a
lifetime created out of a moment. To see some of her works, you could go
